How to get rid of old dependencies on Stored VM

Hi,

I'm changing some stuff in my SCVMM Network design. I'll have to delete some stuff, starting with VM Network.

I did hunt for dependencies, essentially by removing any references of my VM Network in Hardware Profiles, VM templates and deployed templates.

Unfortunately, I still have dependencies in Library Stored VM. I did try to change the vNIC config on them. It worked for one of them, then I got this message :

Error (1285)

Virtual Machnine Manager cannot perform hardware configuration changes on virtual machine VMNAME because it is stored in the library. This functionality is not supported.

Recommended Action

Deploy the virtual machine to a Hyper-V host and then try the operation again.

I've no idea why it did work once. Since the deploy wizard of stored VM asks on which network to connect the VM, the depedency is totally useless.

Any idea how to force my VM Network deletion ? I don't want to waste time to deploy hundred of archived VMs, change parameters and stored them again :(

Thx,

Hel
